Improving Patient Care

HarmoniMD, EHRI’s flagship product works with all departments in hospitals and clinics to improve efficiency, accuracy, and portability of clinical care processes. Many features of HarmoniMD work together to accomplish this goal including:

  • Drug Alerts: HarmoniMD provides physicians with real time drug alerts for allergies, contraindications, demographic conflicts and other conditions that would be detrimental to patients.
  • HL7 Interface: HarmoniMD uses HL7 communication to connect to laboratory information systems (LIS), radiology information systems (RIS), pharmacy informations systems (PIS), billing systems and other HL7 compliant platforms.
  • HarmoniMobile: HarmoniMD’s mobile applications give physicians access to patient information from any connected location including cellular connections. This unique system is designed to work in low band width and intermittent environments and still perform well. Low cost tablet computers replace cumbersome, expensive computers on wheels (COWS) in the clinical environment making data management much easier for physicians and clinical staff.
  •  XMLink: HarmoniMD’s unique XML document system allows every hospital and clinic to develop their own clinical process control without worrying about version control since clinical data is stored within a structured XML document. This system can be used to create exams, order sets, nursing notes, process management and a myriad of other clinical documents and process management tools.
  • HarmoniID: HarmoniMD uses cameras to take pictures of patients and conditions, to read bar codes from patient ID cards and wrist bands, and to scan clinical documents. This unique use of cameras instead of cumbersome cameras gives the clinical staff the ability to visually capture changes in patient conditions, read product bar codes for consumables, and document the use of medical devices in patient care. HarmoniMD also prints a photo ID with the hospital or clinic name and a unique patient identifier.

These features help prevent drug errors, identification errors, and keep the clinical staff up to date at all times with the result that patient care can be significantly improved.
